The SOC 2 Type II audit and report assure customers that Zift Solutions adheres to stringent, internationally recognized security standards.

The examination was administered by the independent CPA firm Schellman & Company, LLC in compliance with The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Principles pertaining to security.
Zift’s’ SOC 2 Type II examination focused on internal security controls to protect against unauthorized access, use, or modification of client information. The company has implemented effective security controls, as defined in the SOC 2 standards. During the examination, the independent auditors evaluated and tested controls in the following areas:
- Organization and management
- Communications
- Risk management and design and implementation of controls
- Monitoring of controls
- Logical access controls
- System operations
SOC 2 Type II examinations put explicit, stringent requirements and guidelines in place for leading service providers to adopt and expand upon. For a company to pass the SOC 2 examination, it must have key policies, controls and strategies that protect customers’ data pursuant to the SOC 2 specifications, which are based on a set of criteria called Trust Principles.
