Prominent Analyst Brings Unmatched Industry Knowledge and Expertise to Channel Marketing & Management Leader

A well-known industry analyst and established CMM thought leader, Gonzalez brings unparalleled expertise and knowledge of channel partners in high tech, manufacturing and financial services industries to Zift and its customers.

In this new role, Gonzalez will guide the strategic direction of Zift Solutions and work directly with the company’s current customers, combining his industry insight and expertise with Zift’s technology and data to ensure Zift users are well positioned to take full advantage of all available opportunities.

In his previous role as Group Director of Channel Sales and Marketing Strategies at SiriusDecisions, Gonzalez established himself as a prominent industry analyst and served as strategic advisor to some of the world’s leading b-to-b channel programs including Intel, VMware, Dell, Cisco and HP. Under his leadership and vision, Gonzalez’s team published hundreds of research briefs and reports on channel management, partner recruitment, enablement and lead generation programs, while developing frameworks and models, such as the SiriusDecisions Channel Program Model©, which has helped suppliers transform their channel programs to drive higher performance.

Prior to his role at SiriusDecisions, Gonzalez was a channel practitioner himself over a period of two decades, gaining extensive executive, front-line and international experience implementing solution-driven sales programs with OEMs, strategic alliances, distributors and resellers. He also headed up North American Channels for Unipress Software, which was later acquired by BMC, a leading vendor of call center solutions. Prior to this role, he served as executive vice president of sales and marketing at Beast Financials, a Wall Street-based application services provider, and before that he was vice president of alliances and OEM programs at Viewpoint – a digital marketing technology and services provider.

Gonzalez also brings several years of international experience to Zift, having led direct and channel selling efforts for Lotus Development in Latin America and later with Baan, a developer of scalable ERP solutions, based in Europe. While at Baan, as regional vice president for indirect sales, he led a channels team that spanned seven countries and worked with over 400 resellers and systems integrators.
